| I started working construction during summers in college and have been in this business since that time. I've done contract work, worked for a large firm, worked with a world wide general contractor and owned my own business for 14 years.
I have a wife and two grown children and have spent many years being involved in community organizations. I joined the Rotary club, eventually becoming president. I also became a member of the Chamber of Commerce, chairing the Economic Development committee. For 10 years, I was the primary organizer and director of a celebrity golf tournament. My wife and I volunteered for many events in the community including the Hillsboro Air Show, Tuality Hospital fundraisers and the Neil Loma Quarterback Shootout (supporting Young Life). One of the early projects for our company was a remodel for the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association which led to me serving as a member of their strategy council for a period of time. I also helped start a Classical Christian High School. In my spare time I coach girls high school varsity basketball. I play basketball twice a week and enjoy skiing with the kids when they are home for the holidays.
